Trustee Ben Pearson- Area IV

Mr. Ben Pearson represents Trustee Area IV, which covers Lake County (Konocti and Middletown Unified School Districts), Colusa County (Maxwell, Princeton, and Williams Unified School Districts) and Glenn County (Stony Creek Joint Unified School District).  Mr. Pearson was elected to the Board in 2008 and his current term expires in 2012. 

Mr. Pearson works for Venoco, Inc., a natural gas company, as the lead mechanic.  He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.  He served for six years which included one tour of duty to Iraq in March 2003.

Mr. Pearson is currently working toward an associate degree through classes offered in Colusa County by Woodland Community College. He resides in Maxwell with his wife Kristie.  The couple currently has three children.
